Western Sunset Sandstone

Western Sunset is a unique stone because of its density, strength and versatility as a building product. It has the ability to be processed in many forms including building blocks, staircase treads and risers, floor tiles, cladding, traditional stone flagging, pool bullnose, coping, cobblestones, paving, pier caps etc. With its ability to be split at the time of processing, it is offered in a natural split surface finish similar to slate.

Western Sunset can also be offered in sawn formats but we believe it is better used with a split face, giving it a 3D finish not readily available in other sandstones. Furthermore its price point comparison to the domestic products is unmatched. After building with stone products for over 20 years we have not come across a Sandstone like it, and with stunning colour bands it is hard to go past this versatile stone.

It can be used as a driveway material at a thickness of 40 mm laid on sand, stabilised sand or mortar. This stone is used worldwide and is recognized as the premium Sandstone material on the market for strength, looks and durability.
