After building with stone products for over 20 years we have not come across a Sandstone like it, and with stunning colour bands it is hard to go past this versatile stone.

Western Sunset is a unique stone because of its density, strength and versatility as a building product.  Western Sunset can also be offered in sawn formats but we believe it is better used with a split face, giving it a 3D finish not readily available in other sandstones. Furthermore its price point comparison to the domestic products is unmatched.

Product Uses

  • It has the ability to be processed in many forms including building blocks, staircase treads and risers, floor tiles, cladding, traditional stone flagging, pool bullnose, coping, cobblestones, paving, pier caps etc.
  • With its ability to be split at the time of processing, it is offered in a natural split surface finish similar to slate.
  • It can be used as a driveway material at a thickness of 40 mm laid on sand, stabilised sand or mortar.
  • This stone is used worldwide and is recognized as the premium Sandstone material on the market for strength, looks and durability.
